Imagine what it is like to truly see for the first time, or to regain vision that had been lost to aging and the lack of resources to purchase reading glasses! We’ve seen it with our own eyes: participants in our clinic put on a pair of glasses and see what their loved ones look like for the first time! An 11-year-old who required a very strong prescription cupped her little brother’s face in her hands and saw it for the first time. She studied his face while the volunteers who had placed the glasses on her head shed tears of happiness. It’s an incredibly rewarding service week.
